  1. Green lentils (1/2 cup)
  2. Red lentils (1/2 cups)
  3. Tumeric (1 table spoon)
  4. Tomates (2)
  5. Red chilli (10 button)
  6. Dry mango (50 gm optional)
  7. Curry leaves (6)
  8. All spice powder (1/2 table spoon)
  9. Garlic cloves (4)
  10. Cumin seeds (2 table spoon)
  11. Green chillis (for garnish)
  12. Coriander leaves (for garnish)
  13. Salt (as per taste)
  14. Oil (1/2 cup)

Process Of Making Tarka Daal

  • Wash green and red lentils. Boil with tomates,red chilli,dry mango,tumeric,salt and 2 glass of water till tender. Then mash the lentils.
  • Heat oil in a pen, add curry leaves,cumin seeds and garlic cloves fry well.
  • Then pour on the top of lentils mixture.
  • Garnish it with coriander and green chillis.
