Ingredients

  1. Chicken boneless (350 gm)
  2. Green chillis (4-5)
  3. Wheat (curshed,whole and soaked in water for 1 hour) (200 gm)
  4. Onion sliced (4)
  5. Yellow Split lentils (1/3 cup)
  6. Garam masala powder (2 tea spoon)
  7. Coriander powder (1/2 table spoon)
  8. Tumeric powder (1 tea spoon)
  9. Red chilli powder (2 table spoon)
  10. Bicarbonate soda (1/4 tea spoon)
  11. Garlic paste (1 table spoon)
  12. Ginger paste (1 table spoon)
  13. Mint leaves choped (1 bunch)
  14. Coriander leaves choped (1 bunch)
  15. Ginger root(adrak) (2 normal size)
  16. Lemon (3)
  17. Oil (6 table spoon)
  18. Salt (as per taste)

Process Of Making Haleem Recipe

  • Take a pen boils wheat grains in water,add salt when become tender and mushy add pinch of soda and cook for 10-20 minutes.
  • Take another pen heat oil add meat,garlic,garam masala powder,red chilli powder,tumeric powder,coriander powder and salt cook on a medium flame.
  • Now mix the grains with meat well.Stir continiously until both are mixed properly. 
  • Now add the lentils in food processor,made it into a thick paste by adding two cups of water.
  • Pour the lentils powder into the meat and stir to mix well, Placed a pen on heavy tavva  or griddle  on low heat and cook for 30-40 minutes.
  • Fry a sliced onion in oil untils its become brown.
  • When haleem become is cooked, Sprinkle fried onions,garam masala powder,mint,coriander.
  • Garnish it with ginger and cumin.
